Youth entertainment – Hands on!
The new youth network from ARD and ZDF is slated to go live on the Web in 2016. Those responsible say they’re overflowing with content ideas. But what constitutes good entertainment for the much-sought-after 14- to 29-year-old target audience? And how does the sector look in other countries? On April 29, a group of students from Steglitz High School will take a look at new and innovative European youth programming from outside Germany, across all platforms. On May 6, as a part of MEDIA CONVENTION, they’ll present their favourites and discuss specific programme content and youth-oriented formats with Michael Bart, a TV producer, head of DASDING.tv and SWR, and a member of ARD and ZDF’s youth-content development group.
