The Making of a Journalism Start Up
LOCATION: MEDIA CUBE
It doesn’t sound exactly like a German publishing house: We let young people create something new, and give them full responsibility for it. Yet this is what happened, and the criticism in the media-pundit bubble around the launch was considerable. We want to discuss what bento, ze.tt, and their peers have learned from their first year of operation. How do the sites reach a broad public? After all the criticism, how did things go from the beginning on? And do young people really need specific news offerings?
