Can Net Neutrality in Europe Be Saved?
In October 2015, the European Parliament passed net-neutrality regulations that take effect in all EU member states on 30 April of this year. However, the rules are so vague on some crucial issues that it is unclear whether they in fact protect or eliminate net neutrality. The task of clarifying these issues now falls to the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications: The net-neutrality law mandates them to create guidelines ensuring a unified application of net-neutrality rules in Europe by the end of August this year.
